Zachary caught his break in the performing arts early, with the starring role in the first grade play Old King Cole. After a decades-long hiatus, he moved into film as producer on The Pleasure of Being Robbed (Cannes, SXSW), co-producer of Daddy Longlegs (Cannes, Sundance). He wrote and directed the award winning short film “We’re Leaving” (Sundance, AFI, London) before co-writing and directing his first feature film Men Go to Battle, which won the Best New Narrative Director prize at the Tribeca Film Festival, followed by the hit Netflix documentary series American Conspiracy: The Octopus Murders.
He has also made projects for Adobe, YouTube, J.Crew, Microsoft, VMware, MTV, Mercedes-Benz, Samsung, and more as director, producer, and/or editor.
He lives in New York City.
